A new primary school in Gedimino Avenue, Vilnius

In September, a new branch of Queen Morta Primary School will open in Gedimino Avenue, Vilnius, inviting first graders.

“Since the demand for primary school classes is constantly growing, we are opening the first class of Queen Morta Primary School in the city center this September to make it more convenient for parents who live or work here. We hear the expectations from our current families attending the ‘Vaikystės Sodas’ center as well as parents interested in education, and we want to meet those expectations by providing an education that meets the highest standards in the city center. We notice that usually, parents drop off their young children, and as they grow, children become more independent and can travel to and from school by themselves. Therefore, this additional Queen Morta School branch will make it easier for parents and will also give us the opportunity to educate children according to international educational standards from early childhood to university,” says Tomas Deržanauskas, the director of Queen Morta School.

According to him, first graders are invited to the school in the fall, but as the children grow, the number of classes will increase – it is planned that within a few years, the branch in Gedimino Avenue will become a second home for almost a hundred students from first to fourth grade.

In September 2023, the first Queen Morta School class will open in the center of Vilnius, next to the ‘Vaikystės Sodas’ branch, at Gedimino Avenue 34.
