The Erasmus+ project provides not only the opportunity to travel and gain experience at foreign schools but also to invite guests so that all Queen Morta School (QMS) teachers can enhance their professional skills.
This week, during the students’ holiday break, Queen Morta School hosted guests from Bavarian International School – Alissa Carter, PhD and Nicole Bly. They specialize in working with students with special needs, and they shared the most effective strategies and methods with the teachers from Vilnius and Kaunas QMS. They presented real-life examples and provided consultations to the teachers.
The QMS teachers worked on creating differentiated lesson activities tailored to the needs of students with varying abilities and discussed practices for lesson planning.
The guests were impressed with how quickly the QMS teachers engaged in the activities after the theoretical sessions and began actively planning their lessons, incorporating the methods they had just learned.
We are delighted that we can provide our teachers with the unique opportunity to learn from experts in the field, improving their knowledge and skills in teaching students with special needs.
