The DELE Spanish Language and Culture Center at Karalienės Mortos mokykla opened its doors for a cozy Spanish film evening! Students, teachers, and other community members watched “Yuli: The Carlos Acosta Story.” The film tells the story of Carlos Acosta, a ballet dancer nicknamed Yuli by his father. From his childhood on the streets of Cuba to performances at the prestigious Royal Ballet in London, it showcases a journey of perseverance, courage, and dedication in pursuing one’s dreams.
The evening was enriched by a selection of delicious Spanish treats provided by the Spanish Embassy, including tortilla de patatas, empanadas de pollo, croquetas de jamón, and tarta de Santiago. We are grateful to the Embassy for their support and for providing access to their film library.
We are happy to create a cross-cultural environment, strengthen students’ Spanish language skills, and build the community in Lithuania – follow our updates and join us at future events hosted by the DELE Spanish Language and Culture Center!
