Queen Morta School hosts an official DELE Spanish language examination center accredited by the Cervantes Institute. This center offers the opportunity to take DELE exams, which are internationally recognized as official certification of Spanish language proficiency.

The Cervantes Institute, a global leader in Spanish language assessment, issues DELE diplomas (Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera), which are acknowledged by academic institutions and employers worldwide. These diplomas, granted on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education, provide an excellent opportunity to demonstrate Spanish language skills and open doors to new academic and professional possibilities.

How DELE examination works?

The DELE Spanish language exam consists of four parts and lasts between 105 and 285 minutes, depending on the exam level. The exam assesses various language skills: reading, listening, writing, and speaking.

Reading part

This section presents various text excerpts, followed by questions based on their content. It assesses vocabulary and grammar knowledge.

The duration of the test and the number of questions depend on the level:

A1: 4 questions, 45 minutes
A2: 5 questions, 60 minutes
B1: 5 questions, 70 minutes
B2: 4 questions, 70 minutes
C1: 5 main questions, 90 minutes
C2: 3 main questions, 60 minutes

Listening part

Exam participants listen to various audio recordings and answer questions related to the content they heard. This section assesses listening and comprehension skills.

The test duration and number of questions depend on the level:

A1: 4 questions, 20 minutes
A2: 5 questions, 35 minutes
B1: 5 questions, 40 minutes
B2: 5 questions, 40 minutes
C1: 4 main questions, 50 minutes
C2: 3 main questions, 45 minutes

Writing part

This section requires writing texts in various formats, such as comments, letters, blog posts, or complaints. It assesses the ability to express thoughts clearly and appropriately in writing.

The test duration and number of questions depend on the level:

A1: 2 questions, 25 minutes
A2: 3 questions, 50 minutes
B1: 2 questions, 60 minutes
B2: 2 questions, 80 minutes
C1: 2 main questions, 80 minutes
C2: 3 main questions, 150 minutes

Speaking part

The A1 speaking exam consists of 3 parts:

1: self-introduction (1–2 minutes);
2: discussion on a given topic (2–3 minutes);
3: conversation with the examiner (3–4 minutes).
